WHO WE ARE

A Foundation Created From Lived Experience

Jasmine’s Light Foundation is a grief-centered nonprofit dedicated to supporting parents during some of life’s most tender and heartbreaking moments. Founded from personal loss and deep compassion, the foundation provides resources, remembrance support, and practical care for families navigating fetal diagnoses, NICU journeys, and the loss of a child.

We understand that grief is not something to be fixed. It is something to be held with gentleness, dignity, and love. That belief shapes everything we do — from the resources we create to the support we provide for families who need to feel seen, supported, and less alone.

The Heart Behind Jasmine’s Light

The foundation was born from the story of Jasmine and the love her mother continues to carry. After walking through life-threatening diagnoses during pregnancy, NICU uncertainty, and devastating loss, writing became a way to give grief a place to rest. That journey led to the book When Love Meets Grief and eventually to Jasmine’s Light Foundation — a place created so other parents would have something to hold onto in their own pain.

What We Do

Prenatal Diagnosis Support

We support parents navigating difficult diagnoses during pregnancy through practical assistance, reflection materials, books, journals, and gentle resources that acknowledge the emotional weight of the journey.

NICU Journey Support

We offer care for parents facing the fragility and uncertainty of the NICU through practical support, meal and lodging help, encouragement, books, journals, and comfort items for long days and heavy moments.

Resources With Meaning

From books and journals to candles, gift boxes, and remembrance accessories, every offering is created with intention — not to erase grief, but to sit beside it with care.

More Than Support — A Reminder That Love Remains

Every book shared, every candle lit, every care package delivered, and every remembrance item placed into a parent’s hands is a message: your child is remembered, your grief is seen, and your love still matters.
